Cassandra Shepard is dual licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and received her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from University of Saint Joseph. Cassandra has work experience in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, inpatient, outpatient psychiatric treatment settings as well as in partial hospitalization program services.

Cassandra provides medication evaluation and management for the entire lifespan with a variety of behavioral health illnesses such as anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorders, eating disorders, and other comorbid psychiatric disorders. Her approach is to work collaboratively with the clients and she focuses on teaching, health promotion, clinical guidelines and integrative care. Cassandra’s main goal is a multidimensional approach to appropriately address individual concerns and to develop an effective, manageable, and approachable treatment plan.
