The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do

Jeanie has been a clinical social worker for more than 20 years. She knew from a young age that she wanted to help people and that desire led her to study social work at Salve Regina University for her BSW and her MSW graduate degree in Clinical Social Work at Boston University. She has experience working with dual diagnosis adults and adolescents, struggling with mental illness and addiction. She had done group work, and individual work helping others develop coping skills to deal with family issues, depression, anxiety, and self-harming behaviors. She has worked with a wide range of clients, from the homeless, aged-out foster youth, college students, and professionals. She believes that every person has the power to change through self-awareness, changing our thoughts and behaviors. Her goal is to start where her client is at, work with them to develop skills and tools they can integrate into their lives, and help them to be the best version of themselves. She is excited to join the Total Wellness Center Practice.

“The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself.”.
