Effective date: October 29, 2026

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice supplements the Privacy Policy of 123 Psychiatry and describes how we handle “consumer health data” collected through https://www.123psychiatry.com/: information that identifies, or can reasonably be linked to, you and that identifies your past, present or future physical or mental health status. It is provided under the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada SB 370, Connecticut’s consumer health data provisions and similar laws, and we apply it to every visitor regardless of where you live.

Protected health information that we collect as a covered health care provider is governed by HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this notice.

1. Consumer health data we collect

  • Website browsing that may reveal a health interest: the condition pages (for example, pages about anxiety, depression or ADHD) and service pages (therapy, psychiatry, medication management) that you open, and the order you open them in.
  • Inquiry and appointment requests: anything you choose to tell us in a contact form, appointment request, referral form or live chat, which may include symptoms, diagnoses, medications or the type of care you are seeking.
  • Technical identifiers that can be linked to the above, such as IP address, device and browser information, and cookie identifiers.

We do not infer health conditions from your browsing, and we do not collect precise geolocation.

2. Sources

We collect consumer health data directly from you when you fill in a form or chat with us, and from your device when you browse the Website.

3. Why we collect it

  • To respond to your request for information, an appointment or a referral.
  • To deliver the pages you ask for and keep the Website secure.
  • With your separate permission, to measure how the Website is used (Analytics), to study page usability (Session recording), or to let you chat with our office (Live chat).

4. Who receives it

Processors acting on our instructions: our web hosting provider, email provider and appointment-scheduling software, each bound by contract to use the data only to provide the service to us.

Third parties, only if you turn them on in Sharing settings:

Third party Tool What it may receive
Google LLC Google Analytics Pages viewed (including condition and service pages), referring page, device and browser details, a cookie identifier.
Microsoft Corporation Microsoft Clarity A recording of page structure, scrolling and clicks on the pages you view, device details, a cookie identifier. Keystrokes and form fields are masked.
tawk.to inc. Live chat widget The page you are on when the widget loads, device details, and any message you send in the chat.

None of these tools load, and none of these companies receive anything about your visit, until you turn the category on. We do not have any affiliates that receive consumer health data, and we do not sell consumer health data. We may disclose it when required by law or to defend legal claims.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • confirm whether we are collecting, sharing or selling consumer health data about you, and access that data, including a list of the third parties and affiliates with whom we have shared it;
  • withdraw consent you gave for the collection or sharing of your consumer health data;
  • have your consumer health data deleted, including from our processors and from the third parties above to the extent they hold it on our behalf; and
  • appeal our decision on any request.

Withdrawing consent for a tool is as simple as opening Sharing settings in the footer and turning it off. For any other request, use the form on our Your Privacy Choices page, email info@123psychiatry.com or call (973) 600-5465. We will verify your identity using the information you provide, respond within 45 days, and tell you how to appeal if we deny a request. If your appeal is denied you may contact your state attorney general.

6. Changes

We will post changes to this notice on this page with a new effective date and ask for your consent again if a new third party is added.
