Yale-Trained Psychiatrist | Over 20 Years of Experience

About Me

I am a general adult psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience, having completed my residency and fellowship training in forensic psychiatry at Yale. During my time at Yale, I had the privilege of serving as Chief Resident of the program and continue to maintain an academic affiliation with Yale and the psychiatric community in New Haven, Connecticut.

My practice includes pharmacotherapy, with a focus on mood disorders, postpartum depression, anxiety, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), ADHD, OCD, weight loss, geriatrics, psychotic disorders, and forensic psychiatry.

I have dedicated myself to building collaborative and reciprocal relationships with my patients. My goal is to address their mental health needs within a medical context while empowering them to lead fuller, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. I offer a variety of individualized treatment options, including pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy, as well as a combination of therapy and medication management. I can also explore alternative therapies and biopsychosocial/spiritual counseling for selected patients as part of a more holistic approach to their mental health.

In addition to my specialization in general psychiatry, I have specific training in geriatric psychiatry and forensic psychiatry. We serve a wide range of patients, from adolescents to older adults, addressing concerns such as psychotic disorders, OCD, attention deficit disorders, mood disorders, and other psychiatric conditions.

Whatever your needs may be — medication management, psychotherapy, or a combination of both — my goal is to support you in achieving the best possible outcomes for your mental health.

I look forward to the opportunity to welcome you and support you on your journey toward better mental health.
